Era: the early Edo period
Shape: A rather long triangular spear with a red lacquered groove.
Jigane: A mix of Ko-itame and masame.
Hamon: Nie-deki straight hamon with doubled hamon and ko-ashi. Boshi is small and rounded.

Features: Shimousa Kami Muneyoshi was swordsmith in Echizen in the early Edo period. The slightly long Kerakubi is a characteristic of older works. The workmanship of this piece is good, especially the varied blade patterns.
