This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length:46.1cm or 18.14inches.
Mekugi:2
Width at the hamachi:2.91cm or 1.14inches.
Kasane:1.03cm or 0.40inches.
The weight of the sword:630grams.
Era: The early Edo period.
Shape: The blade is broad and thick, a solid work, has longer Kerakubi, center part is
painted by Shu(Japanese red-orange color) and Hi is engraved.
Jigane: Well-grained Itame-hada.
Hamon: Niedeki, well-grained Suguha, the tip is round and turns back round.

Special feature: Omi Yari. This was made around Kanbun 8(1669), the
blade is well-shaped and solid. Making Yari is very difficult as well as
making its Shirasaya. This is really well-made one and we truly
recommend this for you.
