Shape: A slightly wide wakizashi with a mihaba (wide body) and a Mitsu mune.
Jigane: Ko-itame hada mixed with masame, showing shirake utsuri.
Hamon: Bright and clear gunome midare with a pointed boshi that turns back.

Features: The Nobukuni school from Yamashiro Province is said to descend from the Ryokai school and is believed to have been influenced by Soshu Sadamune. The first generation is associated with the Enbun and Jōji eras, with the school continuing through the late Nanbokucho and into the Muromachi period, around the Oei era.

Tsuba: Thick iron tsuba with gold inlay depicting cherry blossoms.
Fuchikashira: Higo-style fuchikashira.
Saya: Black stone texture with multiple black horizontal stripes in a striped pattern.
Kozuka: Shakudo nanakoji with high-relief carvings of a birdcage and flying birds, with gold inlay.
Kogatana: Signed "Banhido Kazusa" on the kogatana.
Menuki: Iron menuki with high-relief carving of an axe.
Seppa: Two pieces, one covered with gold.
