Width at Base (Motohaba): 2.78 cm (1.09 in).
Thickness (Kasane): 0.68 cm (0.27 in).
Sword Weight: 450 grams (15.87 oz).
Era: Early to mid-Muromachi period, around the Kakitsu era (circa 1441, approximately 580 years ago).
Shape: A work with Naginata Naoshi style and excellent shape, indicating it was likely once a large naginata.
Jigane: Itame hada mixed with mokume hada, displaying visible grain patterns.
Hamon: Suguha style with occasional small ashi, showing a mix of tight areas and slightly wider nioiguchi, with the boshi rounded and returning.
Features: This work is attributed to Mihara, with well-forged jigane and a suguha hamon with ashi, making it a beautiful piece.
