Era: the early Edo period around Jyokyo era(1684-1688)

Shape: The blade is broad, thick, with a relatively deep curvature.
Jigane: Fine koitame-hada, well-forged with ji-nie.
Hamon: Deep nioiguchi with straight suguha, soft and well-defined ashi, and a deep round boshi that returns gently.

Features: Fujiwara Tsuguhira was from Echizen and made swords in Edo. He is said to have been an apprentice of 2nd or 3rd generation of Yasutsugu.
