He was a swordsmith from Hizen, the son of Tadayoshi I. After his father's death, his works were seen from 1633, and in 1641, at the age of 29, he received the title of “Omi Daijo”. He did not use the name of Tadayoshi, but instead used the name Tadahiro.
He lived a long life, making swords for about 60 years until his death in 1693 at the age of 80, producing a large number of works and in a variety of styles. His swords were said to have a good cutting ability and was designated as O-wazamono. He is said to be the best Hizen swordsmith in terms of the beauty of the Jigane.
From Aoi-Art: Many of Tadahiro's works have suguha, but this one has a wavy Hamon. The shape is stout and sound.
