Shape: A standard piece with appropriate width and thickness, moderate curvature, and a regular tip.
Jigane: Ko-itame hada, well-forged, with ji-nie and visible utsuri.
Hamon: Nie-deki, gunome-midare with ko-ashi and a round return on the boshi.

Features: This is a work by the second-generation Bushu Ju Hata Morihisa. The workmanship is consistent with the first generation, featuring a Choji-midare hamon in the Ichimonji style with visible utsuri. The first generation was Bushu Ju Ishido Hata Morihisa, and the second generation, Bushu Ju Hata Morihisa, produced pieces with a Choji-midare hamon and visible utsuri.

Aoi Art’s Comment: Bushu Ju Hata Morihisa’s works are known for displaying utsuri in the jigane, and this piece exhibits that same characteristic. The Ichimonji-style work demonstrates excellent craftsmanship.
