The "Kuyoumon" crest is said to symbolize nine celestial bodies: the Sun, the Moon, the five planets (Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn), and two additional stars associated with eclipses and comets, known as Rahu and Ketu. Rooted in an ancient belief in the protective power of stars, this emblem was traditionally used on vehicles and clothing to invoke divine protection. Over time, the Kuyoumon became widely adopted as a family crest.
