Features: Kuniie is a renowned Mukansa swordsmith, famous for dedicating blades to Ise Shrine.
Aoi Art's Comment:This tanto comes with an award certificate from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Commissioner, presented to Mr. Tanaka Akinori. Yoshihara Shoji, the grandson of Yoshihara Kuniie, was born in 1945 and became a Mukansa swordsmith in 1982. He played the role of a swordsmith in the movie "The Last Samurai." This Tanto was awarded alongside a certificate of commendation from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Commissioner.
