Shape: The kissaki curves slightly downward. The shinogi-ji remains.
Shinogi-ji: Shows an aged appearance, fitting for its era.
Jigane: Itame hada mixed with mokume hada, resulting in a fine texture.
Visible utsuri appears clearly.
Hamon: Nie-deki, gunome midare with a soft impression.
Sunagashi and kinsuji work actively.
The nioiguchi is deeply formed.
The boshi is pointed and turns back sharply.
The boshi is also an exceptional feature of this sword.
Features: Norinari is one of the Ko-Fukuoka Ichimonji smiths along with Norimune and Sukemune, known for flamboyant hamon patterns.
This piece has a clearly legible mei (signature).

Tsuba: Iron tsuba with raised rim, featuring four openwork boar’s eyes, bordered in gold.

Aoi Art’s Comment: Ko-Ichimonji is considered part of the Fukuoka Ichimonji lineage.
This particular piece has a clearly inscribed mei and excellent workmanship.
The utsuri appears visibly, and the shape shows a downward-pointing kissaki.
Signed pieces of this smith are extremely rare, adding to its value.
The tachi koshirae is tastefully composed and elegant.
In particular, the midare choji pattern stands out as more flamboyant compared to other works.
