Aoi Art's Comment:Moriyama Kanehiro, a swordsmith from Chiba Prefecture, skillfully crafted this blade with intricate choji and gunome patterns. This sword was previously owned by a practitioner of iaido (9th dan), who parted with it due to advanced age. Although there are minor scuffs, it is perfectly suitable for iaido practice as well as for display and appreciation. This is a well-made piece.
