Shape: A robust and stately piece with a wide blade (3.61 cm), thick kasane, deep curvature, and extended kissaki, giving it a powerful form.
Jigane: The blade features a well-forged ko-itame grain with fine steel quality.
Hamon: A nie-based gunome-midare hamon with a deep nioiguchi, featuring prominent kinsuji and a midare-komi boshi.

Features: Yoshitsugu, a swordsmith from Kumamoto, also known as Junji Yamada, joined the workshop of Tanigawa Moriyoshi in 1952 and became a highly skilled swordsmith under his guidance. Yoshitsugu earned numerous awards and accolades, including 15 exhibition selections and special recognition for his work.
