This sword is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for works attributed to Joshu Sueyuki.

Era:the late Kamakura period around, the late 13th century
Shape: Almost Ubunakago, blade is warped from the middle, it is typical of old Kyoto swords.
Jigane: ko-itame hada with Utsuri.
Hamon: Nie base Ko-gunome midare and Ko-choji midare.
The boshi is rounded.
Features: Joshu Sueyuki was a sowrdsmith in Kyoro around the late Kamakura period. He is said to have been a apprentice of Ayanokoji Safatoshi.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: A square iron tsuba with openwork carving of a dragon.
Inscription: Ichiryu Tomoyoshi Saku 一柳友善作
Menuki: Shakudo, a picture of deer
Fuchigashira: Shakudo nanako plate, a picture of flowers and bamboo hats.

This piece is almost the Ubunakago and is a rare piece that retains its original appearance made in the late Kamakura period. It is desirable to be able to appreciate the base iron well due to the absence of Bohi. As you can see in the photos, there are some flaws. The scratches will be removed by polishing. In this case, an additional 30,000 yen will be charged.
