Yamato-shizu” originally refers to works made in Yamato when Kaneuji (兼氏) using the defferent inscription, Kaneuji(包氏) before he moved to Mino. It now includes works by Kaneuji's apprentices and others who remained active in Yamato after Kaneuji moved to Mino. Their workmanship is a mixture of Yamato tradition with Soshu or Mino characteristics.
From Aoi-Art:
This is a sound and sturdy sword with good jigane and Hamon.
I feel it is similar to the works of Taima. I think this work will be liked by those who love old swords.
