We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku, and Regular Saku. This work is ranked as Jyo Saku for Mumei (Taira Takada) sword.

Habaki: Gold-covered double-layered.
Blade length: 66.0 cm (25.98 in)
Curvature: 1.2 cm (0.47 in)
Mekugi holes: 3
Width at base: 2.7 cm (1.06 in)
Width at tip: 1.99 cm (0.78 in)
Thickness: 0.54 cm (0.21 in)
Sword weight: 610 g
Era:Late Muromachi period
Shape: Osuriage mumei with shallow curvature and an extended tip.
Jigane: Fine ko-itame hada with Utsuri.
Hamon: Niedeki suguha with Ko-ashi and yo. Boshi is notare and rounded.

Features: Taira Takada was a swordsmith school active in Bungo in the Muromachi period. The complex blade pattern and brilliant utsuri on this piece give it a sense of antiquity, and in my opinion, it is probably made around the mid-Muromachi period.
