Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae.(36th NBTHK Juyo Paper: Re-issued)

Signature : Mumei attributed as (Fukuoka) Ichimonji.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijyo saki ranking.
The blade was polished by hog ranking polisher.
Habaki : solid gold 28 grams with Tokugawa family crest.
Blade length :　66.2 cm or 26.06 inches.
Sori : 1.8cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 4　
Width at the hamachi : 2.81 cm or 26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.13 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.228 inches.
Era :middle Kamakura era.
Shape : The blade is oo suriage mumei
and the blade is regular width, thickness
with deep sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane :Koitame had and komokume had mixed
with jinie attach and clear Utsuri appear.
Hamon :Nioideki and small nideki mixed with cyoji midair and togari cyouji,
hukuro cyoji midair mixed with ash and yo work.
In Hamon sunagashi and very clear powerful kinsuji work.
Boshi is midarekomi style.

Sspecial feature: Fukuoka Ichimonji is not mentioned Katayama, Yoshioka,
Ko-ichimonji and others. The blade is rather old such kind of swords are called Fukuoka Ichimonji school.
This sword is healthy without lose Hada. Fantastic clear Jigane and Utsuri.
Fortunately the sword has Shinogi-Ji not engraved Bo-Hi.
Because we can see the texture of Shinogoji itame hada and mokume hada which is mentioned Kamakura jigane not Muromachi or shinto.
Especially in Hamon, strong powerful Kinsuji appear some places.

Koshirae : Higo Koshirae.
Saya :Beautiful Higo saya.
Tsuba :On the round brass Tsuba, with open work.
Old Hugo brass tsugba is good impression.
Menuki : Gama frog is engravedback and front side.(It could be solid gold?)

Ichimonji sword. This sword is healthy and clear nice jigane
and clear nice utsuri. In Hamon, active Choji Midare
and very nice Kinsuji work.
The Koshirae is fantastic gorgeous Koshirae which belonged
to daimyo sword. Koshirae is also well balanced for this sword.
