Explanation: Fujiwara Hidetatsu made this blade upon request by Minamoto Yasukage in December, 1652.

We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku, and Regular Saku.
This piece is ranked as Jyojyo Saku for works by Hidetatsu.

Jigane: The kitae is well-forged ko-itame with a fine texture.
Hamon: The temper line is nioi-deki with a large gunome midare, featuring significant variations in height and width, with sunagashi and kinsuji activity within the hamon, and a round boshi with a return.

Features: Hidetatsu lived in Edo and also in Saku, originally from Mino Province, known as Gobei Hidetatsu. His works are highly regarded.
