Features: Kamibayashi Tsunehira was boirn in Yamagata prefecture in 1949, and studied under MIyairi Yukihira. He won many awards and became Mukansa swordsmith in 1985. In 2008, he was designated an intangible cultural asset by Yamagata Prefecture. This piece is reminiscent of Shizu, with excellent workmanship, and especially fine kinsuji is wonderful. The polishing is also good.
