Yokoyama Kaga no Suke Fujiwara Sukenaga was a swordsmith active during the late Edo period.
He called himself a 57th generation descendant of Tomonari.
This work is a magnificent piece with a bright and clear suguha and the beautiful Jigane, and it is thought that it was produced with an emphasis on sharpness during the hectic period at the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
