Shape:Suriage (shortened), with shifted machi.
The curvature is relatively deep, and the boshi is slightly large.
A bohi (groove) extends close to the nakago.
Jigane:Itame-hada is well-forged with visible utsuri, forming a beautiful steel texture.
Hamon:A bright, refined suguha with small nie, and the boshi is rounded.

Features:The Enju school traces its roots to Kunimura, who is said to have been a student of Yamashiro swordsmith Rai Kunitoshi.
This school flourished in Higo province from the late Kamakura period to the Nanbokucho period.

Aoi Art’s Comment:The exceptionally bright and refined hamon is an attractive feature of this piece.
Although there are some minor old flaws, they are not significant, making this sword highly appreciable.
