We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku, and Regular Saku. This sword is ranked as Saijyo Saku. Polished.

Shape: The sword has been greatly shortened (ō-suriage) and unsigned. It has a well-proportioned shape with a normal width and thickness, a deep curvature, and an extended kissaki.
Jigane: Fine ko-itame hada, well-forged with an excellent texture, featuring a faint utsuri.
Hamon: Straight-formed with ashi, active along the blade. Notably, it features reversed choji, with abundant ha activities, and a one-piece ko-maru boshi that smoothly turns into a midare pattern.

Features: The swordsmith of this piece is from the Aoe school, which was active during the Nanbokucho period. This sword showcases magnificent reversed choji, a characteristic of early Nanbokucho period works. The blade features fine sunagashi and kinsugi, with a prominent straight hamon typical of Aoe works, including a double-edged blade. The bo-hi (groove) is boldly carved.

Koshirae: Tsuba: Circular iron tsuba with a gold-rimmed edge, depicting figures, a waterfall, and trees, with gold inlay. Signature: Hagikawa Michinoto Fuchikashira: Copper base with shakudo detailing, illustrating a scene of monkeys playing among trees. Saya: Black lacquered saya. Mekugi: Depicting a monkey motif.
