Explanation:Masayuki made this sword in Feb 1815 at the age of 83.

Sayagaki was done by Dr Kanzan sensei.

Bunka 12 Nen I Feb, 83 years.
Showa Mizunoto-Ushi(1973) Summer.
The blade is masterpiece of the Masayuki. presious.
Blade length is 2 Shaku 3 Sun 2 Bu.

Shinshinto: Jyo Jyo Saku: Satsuma
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyo-jyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 70.2 cm or 27.63 inches.
Sori :1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 3.23cm or 1.27 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Kasane : 0.77 cm or 0.30 inches.
The weight of the sword 820 grams.
Era : Edo period around Bunka era 1815.
Shape : Wide and thick blade with deep Sori, longer Kissaki.
There are Hi on both side of the blade.
Jigane : Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. There are Chikei and black color Nie.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare Hamon with Ara Nie and thick Nioikuchi.
There are Sunagashi and Kinsuji. Boshi is round shape with thick Nioikuchi and Yakuzume style.

Special feature: Hoki Kami Masayuki was a son of Ijichishi Masayoshi 2nd generation. He was born in Kyoho 18 Nen(1733).
He succeeded the third generation and called himself Masayoshi
He receive the Hoki Kami and handed pver Masayoshi's name to his second son, callinh himself Masayuki.
He passed away at the age of 86 in 1818.
He shows excellent skill. He is well known sword smith as Satsuma ShinShinto.
His blades are wide, long, and solid.
The Hi and signature were done in same time.
This sword is published in the ShinShinto Taikan book(p.518).
