Shape: Standard width with deep curvature, bo-hi grooves carved on both sides and fully carved through.
Jigane: Small itame-hada mixed with mokume-hada, showing shirake-utsuri.
Hamon: Suguha with a tight nioiguchi, boshi is slightly wide.
Features:Sue Mihara refers to a group of swordsmiths descended from the Mihara school, originating in the Kamakura period.
The earliest works are called Ko-Mihara, those from the Muromachi period are Mihara,
and those from the late Muromachi period are referred to as Sue Mihara. For those who wish to have the tsuka-maki (handle re-wrapping) done, an additional ¥30,000 will be charged.
