"This is an O-suriage mumei blade attributed to Nakajima Rai.
Kuninaga, a student of Rai Kuniyoshi, later moved from Kyoto to Settsu Nakajima, where he continued his swordsmithing, giving rise to the Nakajima Rai lineage.
This piece is characterized by its wide mihaba, large kissaki, and robust, majestic form.
The jihada is refined, with a nioi-based suguha hamon, incorporating elements of ko-choji, ko-gunome, and irregular patterns.
It features prominent activities such as ashi, hada, intense nie, sunagashi, kinsuji, and yubashiri, showcasing its exceptional quality attributed to this school."
