Aoi Art’s Comment: Naoe Shizu is a group of swordsmiths from the Shizu school, divided into Naoe Shizu and Yamato Shizu. When examining a Masamune blade, I noted a similar hamon from the blade's base to the middle area, with visible kinsuji in the hamon.

Historical Background: Following the Kamakura period, the Nanbokucho period began. In the early Nanbokucho period, swordsmiths like Naoe Shizu were active. The swords produced during this era were significantly larger.
