Appraisal Quiz #826

Previous answer is
Katana: Signature: Bizen Kuni Ju Osafune Yozayemon Jo Sukesada Saku
Eiroku 2 Nen 8 Gatsu Kichijitsu (August 1559).
備前国住長船与左衛門尉祐定作
永禄二年八月吉日

Wakizashi: Signature: Harima Daijo Fujiwara Tadakuni.
播磨大掾藤原忠国

Features: This katana has slight signs of wear but boasts sufficient length, deep curvature, and a slightly extended kissaki.
It is a signed work of Yozayemon no Jo Sukesada, which is considered rare.
Recently, works with personal names inscribed (zokumei) have become increasingly scarce, making this a valuable item.
This piece has no flaws or defects and is an outstanding example.
Detailed information about this sword is documented on page 315 of the Koto Taikan.
Notably, the inscription lacks the character "三" in the name, reading "Bizen Kuni Ju Osafune Yozayemon no Jo Sukesada Saku."
The craftsmanship aligns with works by Osafune Yozasamon no Jo Sukesada, suggesting a possible connection between the two smiths.
Although works by Osafune Yozayemon no Jo Sukesada are extremely rare, a few examples exist, making this a unique piece.
Similar high-quality works are also documented on page 315 of the Koto Taikan.

Features: This Harima Daijo Fujiwara Tadakuni features a hamon with a deeply luminous nioi-guchi and a dynamic pattern reminiscent of clouds against a blue sky, with layers of clouds beautifully visible beneath.
