Features: Yamato swords have 5 famous school and Shikkake is one of them. In Yamato, leading temples organized their priestly armies to oppose the Imperial Court, and there was a lot of demand for swords. Shikkake school was founded by Norinaga in the late Kamakura period and they were until the Nanbokucho period. The polish on this sword is very good, and the hamon is bright and clear and Chikei and Utsuri appears well.

Hamon: The jigane on the shinogi-ji shows a pattern similar to the hamon.
a beautiful hamon. The boshi continues irregularly to the tip, similar to the surface hamon.
