Shape: A sturdy piece with a wide blade and thick kasane.
Jigane: Ko-itame hada, tightly forged, forming an excellent jigane.
Hamon: A suguha hamon with nie, the tip on the right side curves back smoothly in a double-edged style.
The left side shows irregularity.

Features: This piece was crafted by Nagasone Okisato around Manji 3-4.
During this period, Kotetsu actively produced works with horimono (carvings) and conducted significant experimentation.
Although this blade lacks carvings, it is a robust work with a wide blade.

Koshirae Details:
Tsuba: Mokko-shaped shakudo base with gold inlays of chrysanthemum designs.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo nanako base with raised chrysanthemum motifs, adorned with gold-colored details.
Kozuka: Shakudo nanako base with chrysanthemum and Kiri-Mon designs.
Menuki: Depicting tea utensils or related motifs.

Aoi Art’s Comment:Kotetsu blades are highly sought after and rarely appear on the market, often fetching high prices.
This particular piece, crafted during Manji 3-4, has been well-preserved over the years.
The koshirae is also of exceptional quality, making this a highly recommended piece.
