Features: This is a superb work by Ryokai, featuring a suguha hamon with active ashi, a deep nioiguchi, and hataraki in the ha and boshi areas. The round boshi with deep nioiguchi reflects the excellent quality of craftsmanship. The gold inlay on the tang is well-preserved, making this piece, crafted approximately 730 years ago in the mid-Kamakura period, a highly recommended acquisition.
