Shape: This sword has a broad blade with substantial thickness, shallow curvature, and an extended tip.
Jigane: The ko-itame (small wood grain) texture is well-forged, resulting in an attractive surface appearance. The omote side features a double groove (futasuji-hi) and claw engraving towards the rear, with similar carvings on the ura side and Sanskrit characters (bonji) engraved near the upper portion.
Hamon: The hamon is a suguha (straight) pattern interspersed with small gunome (zigzag) elements. The boshi is suguha with a small, rounded return at the tip.

Features: This robust example of Shinshinto Jumyo is rarely seen, with a long, grand tip and remarkable appearance. As Jumyo is associated with longevity, it was a popular gift symbolizing good fortune and was well-regarded by many. This magnificent sword is free from flaws or defects, boasting a weight of 975 grams.
