Shape: The blade has a sturdy width and thickness, with a relatively deep curvature and an extended kissaki, resulting in a well-balanced shape.
Jigane: Fine ko-itame grain, well-forged, with visible grain texture and a faint shirake utsuri (white reflection).
Hamon: Nie-based suguha, slightly tight, with a rounded return on the boshi.

Features: It is said that the name "Jumyo" (寿命, meaning "longevity") was popular because it symbolized long life, making his works often used as gifts for celebratory occasions or given to the elderly. In Mino and Owari provinces, Jumei's swords were highly regarded for this reason. Most of his works are simply signed "Jumyo", but occasionally, as with this piece, he signed with his full title "Tango no Kami Fujiwara Jumyo".

Tsuba: Round iron tsuba with high-relief carvings of dragons and clouds, accented with gold-colored details.
Fuchikashira: Fuchi made of shakudo with nanako pattern; kashira made of horn.
Saya: Shakudo scabbard with unidentified carvings and gold accents.
Menuki:
Kozuka: Shakudo with nanako pattern, featuring a high-relief carving of lions, accented with gold-colored details.

Aoi Art's Comment: This piece is a signed work by Jumyo, which allows us to clearly identify the maker and era. The quality of the craftsmanship is decent, and the koshirae is equally well-made.
