Features:The hachi (bowl) of the 18-plate suji-kabuto, as well as the shikoro (neck guard), are believed to be made of wood or leather. The Fukikaeshi and Mabizashi are made of iron. The Fukikaeshi is adorned with a Katabami family crest.
The Kuwagata are attached using auxiliary fittings because both the helmet side and the kuwagata have female fittings.
The Menpo (face mask) is not made of iron but rather wood, coated with Urushi lacquer.
