Shape: Wide blade with thick kasane, deep curvature, and extended kissaki.
It features bo-hi on both sides, and the yakiba stretches long.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada, resulting in a beautiful surface.
Hamon: A choji-midare pattern created with nioi, featuring an active long kinsugi and a well-crafted irregular boshi.

Features: As indicated on the tang, this sword was carefully forged using self-produced steel, with a finely executed choji-midare pattern in nioi-deki.
It has long ashi reaching the tip of the blade, and the nioiguchi exudes a soft impression.

Aoi Art’s Comment: Akamatsu Taro Kanehiro is a swordsmith from Kumamoto known for creating robust swords.
Born on February 4, 1961, he is a disciple of his father, Kimura Kaneshige.
He has won five prizes in competitions.
The long kinsugi on this blade is remarkable, and Kaneyasu is expected to continue improving as a swordsmith.
Recently, his skill has advanced significantly, and his reputation has risen accordingly.
