Explanation: This Katana was forged by Fujiwara Unju Korkazu at the age of 45 in August 1864 at his Azabu residence for Mr. Miyajima Minamoto Nagatada.

Sayagaki: Ishido Unju Korekazu, noted in Genji 1.
Signed at the age of 45, with a hamon length of 2-shaku 3-sun 5-bu. Ranked as an upper-tier sword. Written in March, Showa year of Kinoto-Tatsu by Kanzan."

The sword is heavy at 925 grams, and of significant length.
Jigane: A bright and vigorous steel with exceptional quality and energy.
Hamon: A nioi-deki gunome-midare, with prominent activities such as sunagashi and kinsuji throughout the blade.
The boshi is irregular with hakikake and features kinsuji within it.

It was certified as a Juyo Token in the early 14th evaluation, reflecting its high quality and significance.
The nakago is in excellent condition, and the inscription includes the name of Miyajima Minamoto Nagatada as well as the original commissioner.
This sword is also listed in the 97th page of the book "Shinshinto Taikan," where it is described as a superb sword with a well-balanced appearance and solid construction.
