Shape: small tanto with long Nakago.
Jigane: Well-forged itame-hada with utsuri
Hamon: Nie-deki gunome-midare, boshi is rounded and long.
Features: Morimitsu was in Bizen adn Bungo, respectively, but I think the way the inscription on this piece is carved suggests that it was made by Morimitsu of Bungo. The shape with a long handle, as in this work, was popular in the Muromachi period.
