Special feature: Echigo Kami Kanesada learned sword making from Echigo Kami Kanesada the 1st and succeeded him, and at first called himself as Echigo Kami Kanesa, but as soon as his master’s son became adult, he gave him the name back and called himself as Sakakura Gonnoshin Terukane. It is said that he changed his Mei around February in Hoei 8. His style is very similar to Sukehiro works. He made slightly squared Gunome with deep Nioikuchi to make bright and uniquely solid and powerful work.

Shape : The blade is broad(3.34cm) and thick with deep Sori and longer Kissaki. There are Bohi on the both sides.
Jigane : Koitamehada mixed with Komehada
Hamon : Niedeki, round Gunomemidare with deep Nioikuchi. Ashi works well.
Boshi is Midarekomi and Ashi comes in a lot. Sunagashi and Kinsuji work a lot in Hachu, and also in Boshi.
