Special feature : Naotane was born at Yamagata in 1778, and he was called Shoji Minobe.
After Naotane studied under Suishinshi Masahide, Naotane and Masahide were hired by Akimoto clan,
In 1821, Naotane was allowed to engrave the signature “Chikuzen Daijo”.
In 1848, Naotane was allowed to engrave the signature “Mino no suke”
He made blades in many kinds of style, Dai-Toran midare,
Yamato-den, Soshu-den, Mino-den, Yamashiro-den.
Also he made Gunome-Choji like a Kagemitsu or Kanemitsu,.
His blades was ranked as Sai-josaku (Top rank).
Especailly, his blades in Tenpo era (1830~1843) were very
high quality, and those blades are called Tenpo-Uchi.
He produced Jiro-Taro Naokatsu and Suishinshi Masatsugu and many good swordsmith.
Naotane passed away in 1857.

Hamon: Chojimidare and Ko-Gunomemidare: uneven changes appear. The tip is mild Suguha. Kinsuji works in Hachu.
